Counselling

SmokersHelpline.ca is your 24/7 touchpoint for getting and staying smoke and vape-free. By registering you get access to:
- A personal Quit Plan tool to help guide your quit attempt
- Your personal quit calculator to track money saved and health milestones
- Access to a community of quitters and "Quit Coaches"
- Join an email list for shared content and motivations tailored to your quit date
- Easy registration for all Smokers' Helpline's services

Nicotine Replacement Therapy

Many doctor's offices in Chatham-Kent have programs where patients can access free or low-cost Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches/gum).
- Call your Family Health Team today to find out what resources they may have available
Medication

If you have an Ontario Drug Benefit Card, some quit medications, such a Champix and Zyban, may be available to you for lower costs. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist if this is an option you're looking to explore
- Some pharmacists in Chatham-Kent can prescribe quit smoking medications without a doctor's visit
