Needle and Syringe Programs (NSP) offer safer injecting and smoking supplies to people who use substances for no cost. It is important that people have access to sterile equipment to reduce the spread of blood-borne infections, like Hepatitis C and HIV.
Needle Syringe Programs Provide:
- Sterile needles and syringes
- Alcohol swabs, filters, sterile water
- Tourniquets (ties)
- Acidifiers (vitamin C)
- Cookers
- Sharps containers
- Safe disposal of needles and syringes
- Condoms and lube
- Information on safer substance use
- Information on safe sex
Where to Access Harm Reduction Supplies
NOTE: We encourage anyone accessing the NSP program to make sure that used supplies are safely thrown away through satellite sites, community disposal bins, or a pharmacy nearest to you.
